Business Challenge
As a progressive organization, The Co-op consistently pursues innovative learning methodologies to strengthen employee knowledge and competency while minimizing operational disruption. The business sought to integrate industry-leading digital health and safety training for managerial and supervisory personnel. This initiative would enhance risk management capabilities and establish a proactive safety culture throughout senior staff.

Selecting online delivery ensured minimal business operation interference while providing complete scheduling flexibility for enrolled participants. The Co-Op initiated a trial of the Online IOSH Managing Safely program, with successful outcomes determining organization-wide implementation across their Logistics division.

The pilot program achieved exceptional results, demonstrating outstanding pass rates and participant feedback, prompting the planned broader deployment.

Outcomes & Partnership Evolution
As of September 2021, Edwardicc proudly secured a new three-year agreement to continue delivering health, safety, and environmental training services to The Co-op. This contract extends the training support relationship established in 2016. We’re delighted that our longstanding, trusted partnership continues strengthening while elevating health and safety standards throughout The Co-Operative’s operations.

The Co-Operative has expanded our collaboration by adopting customized NEBOSH training programs to comprehensively develop their workforce across additional HSE competency areas. We’re honored to serve as their preferred training provider and contribute to building a safer operational future.
